Tom Law started breakout Adventures after retiring from the Army in 1997, after 21 years of service. Prior to this, Breakout Adventures had operated in a part-time capacity since 1995. The company first started operations with four partners, all serving or recently retired servicemen. Having served in a variety of postings during his career including a period with the SASR in Perth W.A. Tom gained most of his qualifications whilst in the military, including Training and Management, Advanced Roping, Airborne Rappelling and Corporate Training. He is a current Red Cross Senior First Aid Instructor and has Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Tom is also a member of the Australian Institute of Management, and has an Associate Diploma in Human and Physical Resource Management from the Australian National University. The Order of Australia Medal (OAM) was awarded to Tom in 1997 for services to the Army and the Corps of Signals, particularly as the Regimental Sergeant Major of the 1st Signal Regiment. |  | Mel Melissa commenced working with Breakout Adventures direct from the youth summer camp system in the United States. Prior to leaving Australia, Mel graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. Mel is our experiential training expert and plays a mean game of touch football. |  Mel | | | Daniel Daniel has vertical rescue, roping and canoeing/kayaking qualifications. He also holds a Bronze Medallion and Senior First Aid qualification.
